Questions

Is this AES 128 bit or longer encoded?

Good app, but some issues

This is a great app, and works well across multiple devices, including desktop. I like the fact that I can get messages on my iPhone, iPad, or MacBook Pro. I wish that the code was open to public review. I do wish that the iOS app would handle landscape notifications. The app works in landscape mode, but the new message notification comes up sideways. There are also some stability issues where the app randomly crashes. Overall though, I think this is a great app.

Awesome

Easy to use - I cant attest to the security as I am sure others will but in terms of ease of use it is great

My goto for messaging

This app is a godsend. I love the simplicity. One improvement... please fix the TouchID implementation - this often resets in a most inconsistent manner and requires reentry of the password to get it going again. For instance of while waiting for the authentication prompt I accidentally touch the screen or sometimes resets and other times if I switch apps briefly when I return it has reset and instead of again offering the TouchID prompt it expects the actual password again. It would be also be great if you would open source this - more eyes on = ultimately better security not worse. Thank you!

Destroys lives

My spouse is a crystal meth addict and Ive found out hes been using wikr to communicate with other users/dealers and sex partners. Thanks for creating an app that enables destroying peoples lives!

It eases my mind

Knowing that info or pics shared wont be available for long is a comfort. While it is possible to try and go around the security features, the app alerts you if someone takes a screen shot. My only criticism is that the app seems to have ongoing connection issues. This seems to cause long delays in sending or receiving messages at times. Overall, Id recommend it.

Very Useful App!

All seems good now. Great app! Loving it so far!

Bad

Active code not send!!!

Unreliable

Lets start with Thursday evening (12/8/16) about 18:00. The servers for this app must have crashed. It was offline for a few hours. Then the mysterious disappearing messages that vanish moments after you open them. The "no connection" notices when you have booming wifi or cellular data. And presently 12/10/16 16:30 cant connect to the servers again. This company needs to understand if they make the claim that they are the most trusted messaging app then they must maintain that trust by keeping things up and running. Having the servers go offline is a big problem. My search for a new secure messaging app will begin tonight. Being disconnected cant happen in my life.

Best App out there free or otherwise

For secure communications that is, with all the key components for protection on both ends on the process.

Love it

I havent had any problems with it its a great app and does what its suppose to do.

Reliable

Safe and sound, seems like the best app around for non iMessage texts. Love the security

Good App but needs some improvement

Very good app but needs a little improvement. Some messages gets destroyed as soon as they are read and login is required when you put the app in the background to open other apps even before its no-login-required time period.

Privacy at its Best!

This app is by far the best private message platform Ive ever used. You can set a timer length of your choosing for the message to self destruct after the other person has opened it. Also, there is no possible way to screen shot! It simply doesnt let you! It is very discrete and secure on every level a user would need in an application for private messaging.

Awesome

Great privacy

Solid App

Awesome App. Efficiently discreet.

unprofessional

Read items on one platform show as read thus unprotected from prying eyes on another platform. Kind of kills the concept of securely displaying messages by tapping on the padlock icon. Here is an idea for developers: use color codes of the padlock icon to differentiate read and unread items if needed. Use more sophistication of setting up how text items are displayed or hidden behind the locks. More setting options for displaying time stamps (i.e. sent, read, recieved) would add to the usability too. Otherwise great potential!
